Hi, I’m Barri — founder of Just Pack Your Bags Travel and your go-to for all things luxury travel! Born and raised in South Florida, I’ve spent my whole life in the Sunshine State. In a former life, I practiced law for 11 years as a licensed attorney before ultimately trading courtrooms for curated itineraries and passport stamps.

Travel was always a huge part of my life. Growing up, my travels mainly centered around domestic destinations and the Caribbean, but in my young adult years, I fell completely in love with international travel and the experiences that come with discovering new places and cultures.

As a partner at a law firm, finding time to travel meant that every trip needed to be worth it. I became obsessive about researching every destination on my bucket list: where to stay, what to eat, what experiences were truly worth the hype, and where the locals actually go. The problem? I never fully trusted travel blogs or online reviews. My legal brain was always asking, “Are these really a jury of my peers?” So, I started creating my own detailed travel guides based on firsthand experience, sharing them with friends and family whenever they traveled.

What started as a passion project for the people I loved quickly evolved into a career built around helping others experience the world in a more meaningful, seamless, and elevated way. Today, I bring that same research-driven approach, attention to detail, and deeply personal touch to every itinerary I create for my clients, who have now become an extension of my favorite people, too!

A few fun facts about me:

• I was terrified of dogs my entire life… until 10 years ago, when I got one of my own. He is now my entire world (and he happens to have a love affair with 5-star hotels, too)!

• Last year, I spent 100 nights away from home and stayed at over 44 hotels.

• Next on my travel wish list: gorilla trekking in Rwanda.
